Highlands Volleyball Club

We were founded back in 1995 with the mission to provide girls in the Somerset area with the opportunity to play more competitive volleyball. Over the years the club has continued this original mission but also expanded to be so much more. Highlands VBC is devoted to fostering each player that enters our gym and to help them achieve their maximum potential as participants in the sport of volleyball so they can go back to their home school and grow both themselves and their team during their high school season. We emphasize not only physical growth, competitiveness and a strong work ethic but also sportsmanship, kindness, and building relationships among the players and coaches which represent numerous schools across the surrounding counties.

Our philosophy is to create an atmosphere for girls to grow in the sport of volleyball which will hopefully lead to a love for the sport. To accomplish this we provide everything the big clubs do but with a much more personal touch for teams and players. Our experienced coaches put an emphasis on players rather than on wins. We have smaller practice groups which lead to more one on one attention for athletes.  We offer both local and overnight tournaments that work well with the busy schedule of the multi-sport athlete and allow for athletes to enjoy spring sports.
